Andreas Koch
Managing Director, Head of Strategic Asset Finance, Debt Capital Markets Loans Commerzbank AG

Since the merger between Commerzbank AG and Dresdner Bank AG Andreas runs the Strategic Asset Finance Department in Corporates & Markets at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt. SAF comprises the following four Groups:
- Energy & Utilities
- Transport & Aviation
- General Industries / TMT
- Monitoring

Before this new assignment Andreas Koch headed the Asset Finance activities as Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort in Frankfurt with a focus on cash-flow based limited or non-recourse financing solutions, where he was responsible for the following sector teams:
- Ship Finance / maritime transport and logistics
- Renewable Energies
- Infrastructure Finance / Public Private Partnerships.

Andreas re-joined Dresdner Kleinwort in July 2007 from NRW.Bank in Düsseldorf where he implemented and headed the Structured Finance Department as Executive Director. Prior to that, he led the Public Privat Partnership Team at Dresdner Kleinwort. In this role he was responsible for the marketing/acquisition and execution of infrastructure projects where Dresdner Bank could assume an advisory and/or arranging role. In addition, Andreas has an extensive knowledge of the major Export Credit Agency systems world-wide. He was delegated to the German Federal Ministry of Economics, Office of Export Finance and Insurance where he was a member of the Interministerial Committee for Hermes-cover policy. For the German Government he participated in the working groups for Export Finance and Insurance within the European Union in Brussels and the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development in Paris. He has gained substantial experience in arranging and negotiating multi-sourced financing packages involving different ECAs both for export financings and limited recourse financings. He has a total of twenty years of commercial and investment banking experience sixteen of which in project and export finance.
